The field of Information Technology (lT) is concerned with developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing computers and information systems IT graduates are trained to work with hardware and software to facilitate business operations.

This produces a BSIT graduate with knowledge needed in ICT related fields, research and is able to undertake advanced studies in computing and related fields.

The programmes expose students to a solid foundation in: software and hardware maintenance; database and data management; programming and software engineering; networks and security; E-service and informatics.

The programme aims at training ICT professionals in the areas of: applied computing; E-services and informatics; systems and network administration; Cyber security and Digital forensics which are highly competitive on the job market.
