Our Data Science program prepares students for professional careers as Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Quantitative analysts and Database administrators.

Aim

The BSc Data Science and Analytics aims to provide a programme of study that combines, mathematics, statistics, and computer science especially machine learning and programming to find approaches to solve data analysis and analytics problems.

Outcomes

  1. Visualize, curate, and prepare data for use with a variety of statistical methods and models and recognize how the quality of the data and the means of data collection may affect conclusions.
  2. Use and adapt mathematical and statistical software packages and scalable computing infrastructure to formulate problems, identify and gather relevant existing data, and analyze the data to provide insights.
  3. Utilize contemporary computing technologies, such as machine learning, Artificial intelligence, cloud and distributed computing, to solve practical problems characterized by big data.
