The symposium, themed “Innovating for an Industrialized Uganda,” brought together innovators, researchers, and technology enthusiasts to showcase groundbreaking ideas addressing Uganda’s industrial and digital transformation.
We extend heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ogwok Kenneth and Mr. Kasole Ahmed, whose exceptional research contributions earned them top recognition among participants. Their innovative projects demonstrated not only technical excellence but also a strong commitment to solving real-world challenges through computing and software-driven solutions.
This achievement highlights the CSE Department’s growing impact in advancing research and innovation at UCU. We remain committed to nurturing creative thinkers and tech innovators who contribute meaningfully to national development.
Looking ahead, our department will be participating in the 12th Annual National Research Ethics Conference (ANREC), scheduled for October 21–22, 2025, at Hotel Africana in Kampala. We look forward to showcasing more of our students’ and staff’s innovative works as we continue to champion ethical and impactful research in Uganda.
