Overview
Our Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) provides practical training and prepares students for successful entry-level careers as computer technicians. Computer technicians provide both onsite and remote technical and customer support services. They install, configure, manage, and repair computers, software and networks.
Our comprehensive diploma curriculum is specially designed to also prepare students for entry-level industry certification exams such as CompTIA+, Cisco Certified Technician (CCT), Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity, Cisco Customer Success Manager ((DTCSM)).
Admission Requirement
- A Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or an equivalent qualification, AND;
- A Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary pass obtained at the same sitting in any subject or its equivalent,
OR
- A Higher Education Certificate (HEC) in any subject.
Tuition fees
The 2023 tuition fees for the Diploma in Information Technology UGX 500,000 for Ugandan applicants and UGX750,000 for international applicants. Note: The stated fees are provisional to help you plan accordingly. The actual fees for the application year will be stated in your admission letter.
